Our classes
Below is an overview of our classes, to help you find the level that best supports your practice.
Beginners
Perfect if you’re new to yoga or to Iyengar yoga.
For students who are new to Iyengar yoga, and those with less than two years experience of Iyengar yoga. You will be taken through a wide range of introductory yoga poses which will develop strength, stamina and flexibility. These classes will focus on the foundations.
Intermediate
For students with a regular yoga practice who want to deepen their understanding.
Intermediate classes are ideally (but not exclusively) for students who have experience of Iyengar yoga. Classes are 90 minutes and are more intensive than at Beginners level. Intermediate classes include a wider range of poses, including regular inversions.
All Levels
Open to beginners and experienced practitioners alike
For students of all levels, including those new to Iyengar yoga. These classes will be general and teach to the level of all attendees. Sessions will accommodate all levels of experience.
For experienced Iyengar Yoga practitioners
This class is for Experienced students. Students are expected to be able to maintain a stable Sirsasana & Sarvangasana.The classes will be run by an Experienced Senior Level 3 Iyengar Yoga Teacher.
Age-appropriate classes designed to build strength, confidence, and focus
The kids classes are a fun and effective way for children to improve their health, patience, concentration and develop a strong healthy body. This class is fast-paced & fun whilst building discipline and focus.
Suitable for ages 6 +
Small classes with individual support & plans for specific conditions or injuries.
Our therapy classes are suitable for a variety of health conditions and injuries, and can help if you cannot join a regular class. They can support your recovery from injury, and provide the tools to help you cope within your particular situation. Therapy classes are taught by experienced Iyengar yoga Therapy teachers.
